So.. ALL RIGHT! They sat her at a table for lunch and the next thing I know there is about seven women fussing all over her. I havent seen that kind of smile on her face in along time. When I went to kiss her goodbye she said, Well, I dont know where youre gonna sit cuz theres not room here with the girls. Uhmmm... OK... Youve got Peeps now.... I came home, scooped up my Lucy into my lap and buried my face in her fur for about two hours. Took a HUGE nap with no worries about people coming or going. Awesome! Then I went back with Lucy to see Gram. There she was, in the sitting room, with her new peeps all around her:). She was supposed to stay in the acclimation room tonight but a resident named Vera wasnt having that. I may be old but Im not crazy and she needs someone to get her through her first night and it WILL be with me. So, after letting Lucy love up (shes so gentle... she knows.. she just KNOKWS!) on the Peeps I tucked Grams into her bed in Miss Veras room. She was so tired and so relaxed. My heart is SO happy. Thank you all for the love and support. It was one of the best days ever after all.
