So...All I wanted to do this morning was to swap out the old, greasy, dusty mini blinds over the kitchen sink. No fuss, no muss. Measured what size I needed... Got it at Home Depot...took off old blind...saw jalousies dirty...cleaned them...screen dirty ...washed that...thick dust around window...vacuumed that...dust/grime around light fixture...cleaned...getting up there I saw thick coat of dust on top of cabinets...cleaned that. By now vacuum cleaner & I are on the counter. (At one time vacuum fell into sink) Top of refrigerator dirty...cleaned that. Hey...ceiling fan in kitchen dirty...got it. Dust balls on floor from all the cleaning..vacuumed. Ok FINALLY time to put in mini blind. DAMMIT...WRONG FREAKIN SIZE!! ...and THAT is why I dont like starting projects around the house.
