So, Amanda Burkett DeLisi, I just awoke screaming from another nightmare. In this one, a stalker had managed to break into my apartment and was sitting in my bed watching me sleep. In my dream, I woke up and ran downstairs (my apartment had suddenly become a townhome), realized at some point I had tucked the pistol in my belt (I was suddenly fully clothed), fired a warning round into the ceiling, the stalker said Now youve really pissed me off, and then in my dream I realized I was dreaming and fell asleep again. Then I awoke and my stalker was there again. This time I REALLY woke up screaming and flailing, sending Willow and Kim flying in all directions. Since youre my new dream interpreter...... Firing the weapon was quite vivid as I have a friends revolver at the moment that requires that I have to cock it with my thumb and I thought to myself that I had to do that. Im used to my badass Glock, so I very distinctly remember reminding myself to pull the hammer back first. So after I calmed down, I retrieved my hidden extra key and removed one of my noisier wind chimes from outside my bedroom window. This will foil my stalker and allow me to hear them if theyre out there. I am still awake, however. Now Im thinking Stephanie Danas over-the-top alarm system might be worth consideration. Apparently Ive decided that Willow, who barks at everything that moves within 10 feet of the apartment, is suddenly going to be ineffective....OR, perhaps the dream is as a result of seeing Stephs alarm system tonight...
