So Andrew told me just now that someone said that happy and healthy dogs dont get kennel cough and they said that on my FB page. I have been trying to find out on my page who said it. I laughed. Seriously ? All my fosters and my personal animals are very happy here and they are healthy other than kennel cough. All of them are up to date on shots . My animals both personal and rescue are very much loved and taken care of. This person who said this is very uneducated and I need to educate them that kennel cough is like the flu. There are many strands of it. Just because you get your dog the shots for it doesnt mean your dog isnt going to get it. The shot only covers certain strands. With the limited space in this piece of crap house I am leaving to my husband and the amount of fosters we had at the time caused me to keep here. Actually my vet said the more they are exposed the better as it will build an immune to them. But really, I must have missed this response because it would have set me off as its one of the most stupidiest comments I have heard. So who wants to fess up and tell me they said that and explain why you say that ? I will argue with you till you I am blue in the face and then I can have my vet call you and explain why you are 150% WRONG in this. Learn your facts before you spout off on my page please. At least I am doing the right thing there where I am not allowing these 3 fosters to go anywhere to other fosters until they are completely over it so they dont cause outbreaks at other family. I am also washing hands and changing clothes often and making sure they do not pass it to Freckles or Shadow who have not gotten in. Seriously people- quit with the hurtful comments . I dont need it and neither do other rescues. You obviously do NOT know it all like you seem you do ( whoever you are) .
