So Avery told me this morning that she wants a Spiderman dress, - TopicsExpress

So Avery told me this morning that she wants a Spiderman dress, but that shed have to turn into a boy to get it. At first I giggled, but then I felt bad for her that she thought she had to change herself in the most fundamental way to wear what she wanted. I have been searching online, but cant find anything other than other peoples etsy creations and halloween costumes, and of course, pink SpiderGIRL costumes. Now, my daughter is a girly girl through and through, but if she occasionally wants to go all boy and wear a red and black Spiderman dress because her brother is into it, and so therefore she is into it--by golly, I should be able to run to the store and get one if I need to. Why hasnt Disney, Marvel, or any other big name company cornered that market yet?? boyish disney clothes, and girlish, yet, authentically colored, Marvel clothes? She likes Ninja turtles like Aden does...why cant there be a green dress on the clothes rack with Leo or Donny on the front, just like the millions of pink and purple Tangled and other Princess dresses?
