So... Back in my hotel after my odyssey 2day.. Pondering the Bill Cosby rape allegations... Heres my take.. People keep asking why these women are coming out of the woodwork now? Are u people serious? I have a mouth as big as a trash can... But if Id been attacked by Cosby at the HEIGHT of his popularity, I would have thought long & hard about going public against this behemoth. Women dont report rapes, as they are stigmatized & its hard to get a conviction against a regular guy, let alone a superstar... R. Kelly comes to mind.. U need to Google just how many other young girls accused him of abuse. Those people who are saying Hes our Bill, leave him alone! Hes an icon! So was Jimmy Savile. Those who are calling these women gold diggers and liars... Erm... there are too many women, over too long a period, who dont know each other, & yet have strikingly similar accounts of what happened to them. This would have gone to court a long time ago if Cosby hadnt paid off... Sorry.. Settled out of court with one of the women whose lawyers had found 13 other women who were willing to testify, who because of the statute of limitations had NOTHING to gain by doing so. Icon or not. If Bill Cosby did this, then he is no icon of mine & he needs to be punished. What u guys think?
