So Beccas graduation day is finally here, I can barely believe it. I am so incredibly proud of my wonderful daughter. Right from the very start of her university career she had to endure so much. When she set out on this amazing adventure in 2011 her dad had just been diagnosed with a reoccurrence of his brain tumours. Wed been told that they were inoperable and hed just started his final course of chemotherapy. But with his encouragement and help she set out on the road to her degree. In her final year as her JohnBons battle to live became a daily fight for life, she endured and persevered. Gaining an outstanding in her teaching practice and a 2:1 for her dissertation, written in the last few weeks of her dads life and after he passed. And so today she receives her reward and will graduate with a B.Ed. Hons. (2:1), a truly remarkable achievement. Her darling dad wont physically be with her other than in a lock of his hair held in the locket shell be wearing but I know that he lives on through her with her attributes which she inherited from him of courage, endurance, perseverance, intelligence, wit, gentleness and love and faith. He has left her a fine legacy and he and I are justly very proud.
