So CNN is airing a special dedicated to finding the flag that was flown over the rubble of the Twin Towers, because it has apparently disappeared... I deny that it has disappeared. In fact, I assert that the flag is in plain sight. That flag can be found flying from countless millions of homes, waving in front of every school post office and government building, and adorning the left shoulder of millions of Americans both here and abroad. That flag, which was raised with such resilience and remembrance some 11 yrs, 11 mths and 23 days ago, has not and will not disappear. That flag, our flag, has stood every vigilante since that day. A solemn and subtle memorial to not only the 2,998 lost that day but for all Americans taken before their time.
