So Chloe is still terrified of her winter coat. Shes only worn it 3 times (this morning was the first time in about a month) and every time she pretty much shuts down. It takes a lot of effort just to get her to move after I put the coat on, and when she walked she would stayed glued to my side/hiding behind me like she does whenever she is worried about something She didnt even make an attempt to go potty on our morning walk, and she just slowly slinks along. She normally leaps through doorways to get through ASAP, but she just slinks through them too. She is definitely afraid. What do you think I should do? Keep making her wear it while its cold? Make her wear it only once every few walks and keep her un-coated walks short? Or ditch the jacket and just take her on very short walks? She has a double-coat from her Lab heritage but its not really as full as a Lab coat, and so I think she can take some cold but not too extreme for too long. My main concern is the wind: parts of our walk are quite exposed to wind since we are near an open field (a park) and a hydro corridor (channels wind).
