So, Common Core is pretty much the most retarded thing I have ever seen. Im a fairly smart person, and enjoy a good challenge, so I tried some of the math problems. It ended with me using strong language in an incredulous fashion. To illustrate Common Cores logic, lets say you need to purchase an apple, and have five dollars to do so. Obviously five dollars is more than adequate for this shopping trip. Logic would suggest that you simply go to the store, and use the five dollars to purchase an apple. You take your change and go home. Simple. Well, not with Common Core. This expedition using their logic would sound something like this: First, determine the number of apples you need to purchase. Discard three socks for each apple you will purchase. Now calculate how many times a week you will need to wash your remaining socks. Take your five dollar bill and set it on fire. Subtract one apple for every ten seconds it burns. Ask your local legislator to hold up their right hand. Now paint a fingernail for each theoretical apple remaining. How many lemurs died as a result? Write your answer using the letters B, Q, and T.
