So Congress, the media, and the American people have bullied Julia Pierson into resigning from her post as the Director of the Secret Service. How sad. I dont defend the blunders of the agency and its support staff, but I will ask, if she is forced to resign for Not doing her Job why havent some of the members of Congress resigned from their jobs. They are making far worse errors with the American Peoples lives and the welfare of the President and his family than she did. Sure she is in charge and yes mistakes were made, and it is even safe to say that some people were sleeping on the job, but she inherited many of the problems that the agency faces and she really didnt have ANY time to put her own mark on how the agency should be run. People kill me. All self righteous and what not, for ANY member of Congress to grill her on NOT doing her job is a farce in and of itself. I mean REALLY... Sorry she left under pressure, I just wish that the people who were grilling her would look in the mirror and submit some resignations of their own! Now that is my Soapbox Stance for the week and it is still early! MY OPINION!
