So Dave & I spent many weekends on Gramp & Grams farm when we were young. We used to traipse up in the back forty to the artesian well in the hills behind the tunnel hole. We would pack a lunch and spend the day exploring. This one weekend we wanted to go out exploring but there had been a mountain lion in the region killing the local farm animals...so Gramp & Gram didnt want us to go wandering off too far. We had a renter at the farm named MaryAnn Kramer. So the three of us packed our lunch with hot chocolate and egg salad sandwiches and walked down the road to the next farm and had our picnic up the road by their tunnel. We heard a noise..Dave turned to me and I turned to him and we yelled Mountain Lion..dropped our cups of cocoa and started running...within seconds MaryAnn passed us liked we were standing still. We never went back for the lunch ...They trapped the cat and we were again able to go exploring.
