So, Drews first week of high school has been rough. Its not due to the demanding curriculum, or the size of the school. Its not due to adjusting to the block schedule, or the every man for himself attitude that allows one to survive lunch. No, none of those slowed him down. It was PE first. I received a text from his teacher informing me that he had injured his elbow and may need an X-ray (We decided to wait and see what happens after a couple of days like good parents do), and Im so glad we did because today, it was the basketball that has landed us at the ER for a knee X-ray. See, we saved a trip! Now we can tell them to check the elbow after they finish the knee.
