So Excited!!!! Ok for those of you that know me more personally....I do NOT have a green thumb. I easily neglect plants and flowers in the home therefore dont buy very often. This Spring/Summer....one of my goals was to have my own little garden (in pots/planters) since we rent the house no real garden possible. I started off small with some grape tomatoes, romaine lettuce and basil. I DID get a late start but the lettuce has been fabulous the last few weeks for salads. I am MOST excited because my tomatoes started growing today!!!!!! I will post a picture tomorrow....not many and not ripe yet obviously BUT for a woman that has not been one to grow a garden EVER, keep flowers above more than 2 days.... I personally think I am doing pretty darn good lol and proud of myself. Who said it was too late to teach or learn new tricks :) #homegarden #freshvegetables
