So, FB has begun putting articles ON MY WALL - not posted by other friends, but because they feel the articles are related to my discussions with others. Not only was the article diametrically in opposition to my personal beliefs, which, in the particular instance, apparently also align with the folks who proposed certain amendments and voted them into law, it was an obvious attempt to dilute the message of the article actually forwarded by my friend, who is a Seton Hall Law Grad of somewhat higher academic standing then our Governor. She and I are both strict Constitutionalists - her post was with respect to the 14th amendment and its application - the article posted by FB had NOTHING TO DO with voting rights OR the [14th] Amendment...but it does have to do with other rights...I wont give it air time here, or my approval. Suffice it to say, I make no bones about where I stand on almost any issue - but I also back those positions up with reasoned arguments, and am willing to listen to opposing views...unless those views are intentionally divisive and inflammatory solely for the PURPOSE of being divisive and inflammatory. Leisah Bluespruce, thank you for forwarding a relevant article. FB, I think I will trust my friends and associates to suggest things for me to read. Keep your spin to yourself.
