So Facebook world whats on my mind you ask? Psalm 30:5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime... Ive spent this week listening to about 8 different sermons on Grace, read its seems an innumerable amount of articles on the same topic, talked to my wife and many friends about Gods grace, all in preparation for this Sundays message about one of Gods attributes, His graciousness. The verse above is the first verse I read this morning in preparation for tomorrow. Im sitting in Panera Bread gulping coffee and enjoying a pecan twist when all of a sudden this verse floods my soul and I almost cant control myself. Im trying my best not to weep because of the impact and revelation of how God REALLY thinks of me. I am loved because of what Jesus accomplished for me, my identity is Jesus Christ because I have put my faith in what Gods Word says about Jesus. Gods grace is 24/7 not only when Im obedient to His Word. When I sin God is gracious, when I feel unworthy Gods grace declares my worth, my salvation is because of His grace, my calling is because of His grace, I have an amazing wife because of His grace, I have a son that I never thought I would have because of Gods grace. I cry in my soul unworthy and proclaim His glory because God is gracious. As one preacher said Grace is a pool that elephants can swim in. Its a pool that God allows me to swim in as well. Glory and honor to my Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you my Lord for grace.
