So Folks, heres how to do it.....auto body broken window repair, stage 1, 101. When disrespectful lowlife humanoids pop your camper shell window, Notify the Cops, File Insurance Claim and order new window from the Campershell Company. Since the window needs to be ordered, and who knows how long THAT will take to arrive and install, dress up in Levis and tape the bottom of the legs tightly, step into some heavy duty plastic bags so as when you kick out the remaining glass from the Campershell, no glass will fall into your pant legs. .....That could cause some VERY tender moments. :-) Get a piece of cardboard and place it on the bed of the truck in side of the camper shell. Crawl inside the camper shell, lay on your back on the cardboard, and kick out the rest of the glass carefully so as not to get cut or allow flying glass to fly into you eyes. The taped plastic will prevent glass shards from getting into your shoes and into your clothes. After the glass is kicked out, and youve once again cursed those blessed bastards while lying on you back kicking out shards of glass with your feet, you can now grab the matching colored DUCK TAPE and proceed to patch the broken window hole until the new window arrives from the factory. The criss-cross and grid-like under stripping of the DUCK TAPE overlaid by the horizontal strips and lastly, the outer framing, SEEMED to do the trick...so far, its holden up on the freeway and under a few light rain showers as well as some outdoor exposure.
