So, Friday for us is over in China.....still no visas. That means we wont be home this weekend. We honestly dont know when we will be and while we are dying to get home...we have peace. We know there is way more to the story. Today was great! Annie Easterday Norton and her hubby had some amazing friends state side send funds for all of us stranded families to have a pizza party! It was so great to get out of our heads for a while and enjoy company of people in the same boat. Spent some time with the Jennifer Cannavo Calise family and had lots of laughs. We all want to get home but we know that we know that we know that in the grand scheme of life this is no biggie. The emotions come in waves but community here has been an incredible help. Tomorrow we are hitting up the zoo with Jennifers family and hopefully passing time quickly! Sunday the local consulate office is opening in hopes that there is movement with visa printing. We can only hope. Im less concerned about the visas and more concerned about getting a flight once we have the visas. It could be expensive and hard to find because loads of people have been stuck. Also, because Joe is a pastor we were only able to get a thirty day visa for him.....we actually HAVE to be out of here in ten days. Well, at least Joe does. :) Thankfully, God already knows all of those details. ❤️ love from Guangzhou!!!!
