So Gabby Ochere Darko tells his fellow elephants in parliament - TopicsExpress

So Gabby Ochere Darko tells his fellow elephants in parliament that they arnt working to raise the political temperature of this country high as it has been one of the agendas of the elephant group in opposition. You would recall earlier that prof. Karikari made a similar call to his fellow elephants who are mps and those who are not they are not hammering hard on the issues that happened under the umbreller in gov with jdm on the saddle. In lieu of that, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul goes to parliament with bags of rice to try and impress his fellow elephants outside parliament that they are indeed working hard to raise the political temperature high. Whats so disgraceful and shameful is that, if he had done that within the frame work of the subject matter under discussion in parliament, it would have been understood. But he chose to do talk about a subject matter which is totally unrelated and completely out of space with the subject matter tabled for discussion. Now, tell me, how would what nitiwul did bring good roads, good drinking water.... Etc etc etc to his people in bimbila, how? We know that mps are not responsible for the provision of these things that have been mentioned, however, we know that they can be agents of development by using their status and influence to lobby with NGOs and other organizations to bring development to their people. Are these the things nitiwul has chosen to use his lobbying time to do. awurade. In any case, dont you think that if nitiwul had bought locally produced rice, he would have helping our poor local farmers in terms of demand and supply and also helping our economy through agriculture? But he chose to go and by imported rice, thereby helping to solve unemployment and inproving some countrys economy some where and invariably helping to damage his own countrys economy?
