So, Glindas first night at Breed Handling Class at Paws4Ever. She was awesome - got out of the car, peed on command, walked right into the building on her harness and leash, tail up. Waltzed right into the room, gave her Hey world, Im here! bark, and trotted around, clam happy. She apparently can free stack now, on the ground, and holds it nice and confident on the table, walking right out to the edge. She took treats from the judge, didnt take off any fingers, and our down and back and around werent horrible - she mostly moved out with a loose leash, didnt cut in front, and only occasionally tried to play fight with her reflexion in the mirror. Well, honestly? Consistently. But thatll fix. Was much more difficult in that the lovely Elphaba was there too with Aimee Nantt, and the sisters were very interested in each other, but were there to work. The arounds were a little more of a challenge, with a terv in front and her sister behind her and the puppy in the mirror sometimes playing hide and seek. Oh, and she tugged at all times if offered. Yay! All in all, confident, happy time was had. Then she came home and scared the beejesus out of the chicks. So it goes.
