So God has been working with me on how my reactions dictate my reach, and I was so blessed that someone actually took the time to make an appointment with me this week to tell me what, at times, it looks like to be on the other side of me when I am in stressful situations. While my heart in those situations is to notice and value everyone, making sure everything is perfect and hospitable (Philippians 2:4), I know I can come across as dismissive and controlling. This hurts, but its truth. I so love the fact that God puts people in our lives to journey with us. This person doesnt even know me that well, but she loved on me, and encouraged me, and then spoke truth into my life...powerful. #immeasurablymore #lordchangeme #Iamtheclay P.S. I share this as a way to encourage you to allow others to speak truth into your life, not as a way to get positive affirmation. I know how God sees me and that is all that matters.
