So, HMG wants restaurants to provide smaller portions of food, but still keep the price the same. At the same time, theyre now considering a £10 a month NHS membership fee! A private healthcare insurance premium in other words, when part of the taxes that everyone pays is intended to support the NHS. It really is about time that people started demanding a reduction of £10 a month in their income tax. either we pay for the NHS via HMG, or we pay direct to healthcare insurers. What we DONT need to be doing is paying TWICE for a reduced service. Just out of interest, how do they expect the small family who maybe have a pizza to share, to buy extra to keep the per head portion the same once theyre suddenly a tenner worse off if they want to keep their access to healthcare? I will not be paying a £10 membership fee for healthcare. if I end up catching and then spreading something like TB, scarlet fever or smallpox (which has resurfaced) tough tittie. Someone with a bit of clout needs to start putting these muppets straight by telling them that if you take money away from people, they cannot spend more in order to make up the shortfall in food intake. https://uk.news.yahoo/video/mamma-mia-pizzas-smaller-070741006.html https://uk.news.yahoo/report-calls-nhs-membership-fee-233419877.html#vF8DGhZ
