So... HaeravonFAQs fans, are you hungry for more Baldurs Gate? Rhetorical question-of course you are. Turns out Beamdogs Adventure Y game is a new story in the Baldurs Gate series. Instead of Baldurs Gate 3, though, its... well, in their words, Baldurs Gate 1.5, a game that bridges the gap between Baldurs Gate 1 and Baldurs Gate 2. I wasnt aware we needed any such bridge, but... whatever. Ive been critical of Beamdogs original content in the original games, and Ill admit, Im more than a bit skeptical about their competence here. Also, its the absolute safest thing they could do-presumably the level cap will remain between BG1 and BG2 levels, meaning they really dont have to come up with much in the way of new gameplay mechanics... its just an over-glorified module for low-to-mid-level Baldurs Gate. Still... Im Haeravon. Is there any possible way that I could get out of writing a FAQ for this game? I didnt think so. Id never hear the end of it. So, Im going to be cautiously optimistic.
