So... I am a little bit ticked this night...My son has his birthday party today. It was at chuck e cheese. Dont get me wrong, he had a blast. But I am quite irritated at the number of no shows. Im not sure whats worse, the no shows with people that wouldnt respond day of, or the number that had excuses. There was tons of other kids, and he didnt know any difference. He just turned 3. The point is, people saying oh yeah yeah yeah Ill be there! And then not show up... Of everyone I had 2 friends come. One really didnt have a reason to, she just had a baby. But she did and I am reeeeally glad she did. I missed her like crazy anyways. The other, it was nice seeing our kids run and play and they really couldnt have afforded to come, but they did. And I hope they had a great time and their kids sleep well. I had open invitation. About 12 specifics. and about 8 for sures of the people specifically invited. I had 28 people tell me yeah yeah yeah we will be there. Many I didnt take seriously because either 1) only around me when its convenient aka I have money, or 2) can never trust their word. Of course I didnt expect 20+ people, but it would have been nice to have more than 2 of my friends. The people that DID show up? People from my moms work. And the Neighbor. None of the family even showed...
