So I am going down memory lane today....remembering and cherishing all my dogs that have been in my life...the first dog ever that made me fall in love with them was my aunt Stephanie s rottweiler named Sadie. Loved her...then my brother and I finally talked my mom into letting us get a dog of our own, but Patrick Miller was allergic so we had to get a minature poodle....this was before the all the hypo breeds came out. We named him Boo Boo because mom said it was the biggest mistake she ever made. He was a good dog but just not what I wanted. Then my all time favorite dog, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, aka Bubba. He was my first dog I ever had on my own, thanks to Jeanette Wilson aunt they brought my lovable yellow lab home for me. Bubba started it, my dog compulsiveness. He unfortunately died of melanoma cancer at 10. Then came my beautiful dockdog legend dog Bailey. Best dog ever, so obedient and smart. Thank god he is still with me and at the age 10 is still loves dockdogs, I would never have met most of you if it wasnt for him. Then was the poor mutt Alvin, loyal and loving but unfortunately came down with bloat and we cpukdnt save him, then came our little scrapper Charlie. He looked just like Bailey but smaller, he was the best little dockdog novice. Then my soul dog, Tinkerbell, my first jack russell....we babysat her and fell in love with her, so her family gave her to me....she was the smallest dog with the biggest attitute, god I miss her. Without her I would have never met my best friend Debbie Greenisen Pinkerton. Then came my hunting buddy, Dutch and our first German shorthair pointer. He was so birdy and just a bit snooty. We had all 5 of these guys at once. But unfortunately I lost Dutch and Charlie to Sara when we split up. I never get to see those two anymore. Before the split we decided to foster some pups....Barley was our first foster and I became such good friends with his new family Joel and Theresa Rakocy and now little dude jumps over 23 feet adnd got to go tog Worlds. Our second foster was Maggie Mae, she found and loving home but tragically died a few months later my heart was broken for Johansen Sr Jeff and his family. Then the third foster came....Brinks. My Mr. Yummy, he was was a hot mess, still is....but we had a connection and it was a rough time for both of us, we saved each other. I had tog keep him. Then with the passing of Tinkerbell, I received new hope, my lil scruffy dog Hope. She is such a lover and is my little spit fire. But there have been so many of my friends dogs that have touched my life too, not to single any out or forget anyone but if there were a few dogs that I ever had the chance to bring home it would be these: Paul Leabhart Sienna, love her, my little rentadog. Then Tazar, Debbies jack, Tinkerbell s best friend. Who doesnt love the Tanman with Susan Barnes, the Hitman Morgan of Debbie Kirby, the little princess Benelli from Stacey Lewis, the gorgeous black lab Molly from Marnie Maze, notice I didnt say Mitzy, lol. I love Cooper, Reuben and Silas from Douglas Parkinson, King Smoochie Shadow of Ginny Haas....how about any of the 15 westies that Pat Ray has....oh and Butter, Karen Sibley, i could kiss that dog all day, the list goes on....so many wonderful dogs in the world, I would have 5 more right now if I could afford it. Some people think I am crazy but I would love a pitbull next. So everyone grab ur dog and hug them. They are only here short time.
