So, I am informed in these exact quoted words: THE ENGINE LET LOOSE!. I repeat these words back to the dealership lady, with the most lost sense of the words, totally uncomprehensive! Debbie at Sanford Transmissions said a ROD or PISTON in my Engine went and my engine is KAPUT. Ok, this is a 2002 Kia (RIO) we are talking about. I get that its about 13 years old BUT, it only has 72,000 miles on it. Never made it 100,000 or rolled over! It is used as a secondary car or short little trips for errands. $1,500 for labor and ????? for a brand new or used engine. More info will come to me tomorrow. Excuse me while I go upstairs and cry! Thats all I can afford and am capable to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh, Sniff, sniff......:(
