So I am up with the larks and taking the usual morning gander at the Rig..... Work seems to be going on but then I spot it...... looks like work ceased last night for a bit of on the job training...not the good stuff like practical work but class room stuff.. Everyone is wearing a riggers harness... on and off the rig... Those tasked with that role were now all wearing what they needed to do the job to the standards the HSE demand. Looks to me like Rathlin got a tip off that the Health and Safety Executive had taken an interest in their slapdash working practices. Now correct me if I am wrong but if this is what the workers were supposed to be doing all along.... doesnt that prove that up until now they havent..... A FULL enquiry is needed into why Rathlin have been allowed to fall WAY below any alleged highest safety standard in the World that Nick Clegg so proudly boasts of. Doesnt it prove that the work being undertaken in this industry is cavalier and slap dash..... The exact opposite of Mr Nick Clegg claims..... Clegg you must resign mate... This Gaff of yours is more than a Gaff It is an outright misleading statement....
