So I am watching fix my choir and Michelle Williams says that when you stand before people in church its about putting on a show so that people will believe what you are doing. Im sitting here and im thinking ,did she just say that, a show??? I believe in excellence and I do know that there is a such thing as stage presence that performers must have but what about the annointing as well. It can sound good but that does not mean its effective in changing lives.I know some may not understand, yes I know its tv, and its a youth choir, yes they were awesome,no I am not perfect, no im not saying she should have explained this to them, and im sure she knows about the anointing however that one statement ... .. People need to know that yes excellence is awesome we need that, however lets not forget that we also need the anointing because most of all we want the presence of God,and we want an atmosphere set to break chains,heal,and etc. However on tv or certain concerts in the gospel industry thats not always possible because of certain reasons I understand that,I know some things gospel artist have to do to make their music or performance appealing however in the church on sunday morning,sunday night or whenever it should not be about a show but all about yielding to What God wants. So to all church choirs,praise teams,etc lets work in excellence and remember its all about God, and without the anointing its not effective. Our desire should be that when we minister through song,through playing or what have you,we should want to see the Glory of God Fall in the place set people free,heal,deliver, and people worship God all because He is God and its all for His Glory #moreofGodlessofus #allwewantisYOU
