So I call Dish to tell them that our tv service is out yet again. Every single time it rains we have NO tv. When we signed up they told us the only interruptions in service are during SEVERE weather. So this very nice, not too bright, customer service rep named Ice, kept telling me that anytime it rains, the rain will interrupt the signal & we will not have service. It will also interrupt their ability to upload feed to my dish so I will not have service. So I asked what is the point of my having service if any type of weather, rain, snow or even strong wind can interrupt the service. She said that I had to understand that the signal cant get thru the rain. I wonder how my cellphone does it, hmmmm. But then she said looking at the map, my area was still experiencing severe weather. I said we had a few thunderstorms. That is normal weather, not severe. Severe to me is tornado, hurricane, noreaster, tsunami, earthquake, thats severe. Some thunderstorms, rain showers, even a snow storm is to be expected at some point. So I dont need their service if they cant handle normal weather. She said for all my trouble she will credit me $5 dollars, lol.
