So I call the VA to find out what they found out about the x rays taken last week. They were supposed to call me on Monday and let me know and also schedule me with a specialist and other things. Never got a call. Now they said they did not have my phone number. They also said they found several things wrong with my both legs and foot and other stuff. They want me to call the specialist at the VA for an appointment. They gave me the number. I called and was on hold for 30 minutes then it hung up. Same thing several times today. I cant get an appointment with the specialists if they dont answer. They also said they want me to tell my doctor if I want physical therapy or not. I had already told the doc I would do whatever I need to. Only problem, last time they put me in physical therapy, did not go so well almost ended up in ER again. This is the same VA Clinic that before game me some meds that states in my record I am allergic to and I ended up CODE BLUE, Blood pressure dropped to 40/20 and ended up in Civilian hospital for a few days. As for having to call a specialist at the VA myself for an appointment, and they not answering their phone for hours.. Kind of crazy. So tomorrow.... which I wanted to spend fishing or working on my art... will be spent at VA getting copies of my records and walking into the specialist office and asking for appointment. OH the joys of being a disabled veteran. ...
