So, I came home from my business trip and the house was decorated like this (see pics), in my favorite flowers and colors! Now, this is interesting to me...When I was ALWAYS (and I mean always) home and worked around the house and family around the clock and gave them 100% of my attention I did not get anything like that! Now when I go away to do all the things I like to do (like my writing, signings, presentations and research) I get a lot of appreciation! And for what? Hmm, that does not make any sense to me. Are they happy that I was gone? Or are they happy that I returned? Or do they actually see now what it takes to run the household? I will ask, but I am pretty sure that the latter is the answer. Therefore if your spouse (or you) is all day home, and it seems like she/he is not doing anything, please give them (or yourself) a huge praise today! It is great to be back, article about where or what I was doing will follow.
