So, I cannot get my last customer of the day (from yesterday) off - TopicsExpress

So, I cannot get my last customer of the day (from yesterday) off my mind. I made a mistake and it is making me feel ill. It wasnt a good day all around and at 7:57pm, a call came in from a woman who insisted that I issue her a large credit as she is a busy person and doesnt have time to upload her final bill from her previous carrier in order to process her request for ETF reimbursement. I am always incredibly kind on the phone, I swear. However, after going over all of the information required at least six times, I was so fed up as I looked at the clock and seeing it read 8:28pm, I told her that I had given her the information she needed and that there was nothing more that we could do to help her until she was willing to help herself. When she continued to argue and try to get her way, I told her that I was supposed to have clocked out a half hour previously and my children were waiting for me at home. As soon as I said it, I knew it was wrong and I felt bad. She continued to argue and then said that she would cancel service if we didnt give her the credit. At that moment, I stopped her to tell her that I was connecting her with another specialist...warm transfer to retention, it was. If I get fired for telling her I was supposed to have clocked out, I deserve it. I cant stop thinking about it. I am literally sick. :-( GUILT
