So I check in for my flight online and they give me a middle seat. A middle seat. A middle seat, with my shoulders. Oh well, at the gate I ask for a better seat. There were only middle seats left, but one was in an exit row. Still a middle, but better, right? I took my new boarding pass, proud that I was able to improve my situation. I board and find my row. My seat Is next to the biggest man Ive seen on a plane. He was very flabby and he took up half of my seat also. Ive heard that they charge people like this for two seats. He was definitely one who needed two seats. I took my seat and leaned far to my right, but still buried in his side. I was wishing I had kept my original seat. I will have to fly three hours like this. Then I heard the attendant over the speaker, If you cannot perform the emergency duties or do not wish to sit in an exit row, let us know and we will reseat you. Music to my ears! Saved! I could hardly wait until she came by and asked us. I had my answer well rehearsed, and i would get out of this horrible seating position. But the thought of putting sometime else in the seat was awful, and I knew if I humbled myself I could handle this better than anyone else anyway. So I simply changed my mindset, got happy, and enjoyed the flight and the company. It really wasnt so bad after all, and I soon forgot how crammed it was. In fact it was a great flight. God gives grace for everything, and life is good. We Christians are the happiest people on Earth! God night kids. And dont forget to drink your ovaltine.
