So I clearly did something which no one else did and went to: https://core.duvalclerk/Welcome/ to read the docket of this court case, and let me tell you it is quite the story. The case number is 2010-CF-8579 and her SECOND case of 2011-MM-284. In 8579, which is the main case this article is about the woman was cited for gunshots in Aug. 10th, 2010 and was due to appear in court Sept. 1st. The court case proceeds normally until 11/20/10 when we see the first note of DEFENDANT NOT PRESENT. This continues on 12/8, 1/15, and 1/12 when the court finally enters MOTION TO REVOKE BOND. Suddenly the defendant is present on 01/13, and graciously the motion to revoke bond was denied on the condition that the defendant be home monitored. This was quickly followed by another no-show which led to the states to call for another bond-revoking, and the defendant was remanded to jail on 02/10. The second court case of MM-284 was an aggravated assault case where this same woman plead no contest. I interpret this to mean not guilty, but whatever situation she got into, she didnt have a legal defense to go with. The date of that offense was 12/30/2010. 3 months after her original offense date, which was another court case filled with no-shows from the defendant and the case was only able to conclude when they went out and arrested her. The first case also had an obscure but interesting note at the beginning of the trial proceedings where it looks like a case of suspected child abuse was added on as a suspicion but isnt discussed later that I saw, someone with better knowledge feel free to correct me. TL;DR the woman couldnt behave in a courtroom and got the book chucked at her head by judge and jury.
