So I did not what to put Christmas out yet...but time restraints have forced my hand. This is what I am calling our winter look, so I did not have to completely go back on my desire to not put out the pure Christmas décor before Thanksgiving. Two more trees next week inside and a little more fluffing and we will be ready for the arrival of trees, both fresh and flocked. Greens, wreaths, Poinsettias and such should arrive this week. I must say though...the store is so charming. I actually am loving it a bit too much me thinks. Such a boutique...charming. One of our very patients customers (our registers have half worked all week (not at all this weekend!) saw the pamphlet for Ireland at the store. She said, So you ARE that guy I asked her how the change of hours on the show have been. She said she lives with her parents as their caregiver. Her mom has dementia and her dad watches the news at 5...so it has been a bit of a hassle for her, but she loves it and they are working it out. I wonder if those corporate attorneys ever consider things like this when enforcing the FCC rulings??? I suspect not. Thank goodness we have such a proliferation of wonderful viewers. Perhaps you can understand why I adore them so much! And, I just got home a received an email from the producer that we do not have to start until 10am tomorrow! I am going to kiss him full on the lips for this one! I still have loads of laundry to do and manscaping to accomplish tonight. Every ounce of pretty I had was put into the store this week. Its gonna take a Christmas Miracle to make me film worthy tomorrow!!! :)
