So I didnt cry election night; I held off the tears. But as we were driving in the car, I thought back to about a month after I had started working with the campaign and Tom was at 2% - someone I know asked me the opposite of what most people ask: what was a reason I thought Tom WOULDNT win. I said that Tom might actually be the nicest, most decent, genuine guy I know; and in this life, nice guys usually finish last. So if there was one reason, that was it. But this nice guy proved that wrong. The thought made me smile. Then the tears came. Happy tears. And I couldnt help it. CONGRATULATIONS, Tom! Im sorry… Governor-Elect! :-D (P.S: thats me in black off to the left jumping in the first 2 seconds haha)
