So.... I dont, in no circumstance consider myself a voguer, because I know it takes more than just learning a few moves to master a style like it. BUT, I am a dancer. And as a dancer, I have seen, studied, embodied and understood what it means to become a master at what I DO. And who I AM. And what I want to share with the world. I love music and the world of performance. I love how it has created and evolved cultures across the globe. How it has allowed individuals like myself to feel comfortable with who we are and given us the opportunity to color the world so we can all live in a brighter and more joyful existence. I have never been one to tell myself I cant do what Im being asked to do, because as an artist, I can be and do anything I want. Thats the beauty in imagination. Creativity. Artistic freedom. Its boundless, and if you love what you do, it will ALWAYS evolve. You will never be the same person you were yesterday. Im a leader, but Im always and forever a student. This particular situation in this video was just another way for me to just live my life and not be afraid to do it. It was my spirit taking everything that I have been learning all these years and putting it to the test. It was me honoring all of my peers, friends, teachers, mentors and idols who have inspired me to always be who I am and know how to deliver it. This was me showing these few people in this room how to never be forgotten. Thank you Lindsey and Craig for yet another great audition, and to my best friend Eric Sanchez.... you inspire me.
