So I dont usually do this, even though I probably should, but this year I just have so much to be thankful to God for that I just cant help but share. Of course the obvious is my beautiful baby boy. Gideon is an answer to a prayer that has been going up from me for literally a lifetime. I have known I was meant to be a mother since I was a small child. He has extra hurdles for us to deal with, but I wouldnt trade him for anything in this world and I will fight with everything in me for him. I love him so much more then even I imagined I would. Next is my family. This last week has been the most trying of my life. And all throughout, my parents (Daniel & Patty), my mother-in-law (Kimberly) and my sister (Melody) and my best friend (Theresa) have been by my side figuratively, and often literally, supporting me and keeping me in a sane place. I know theyre frustrated like me, because so much of what weve faced isnt something you can just fix. But the support they have given me and Bobby and Gideon has meant the world to me and I dont know that I could have handled it all without them. And last but most certainly NOT least is Bobby. I have come to the breaking point so many times this week. He has the been there in every step of the way. Every tear, every pain, every panic attack - Bobby was right there encouraging, supporting, guiding, being logical when I all could be was emotional and soooo much more then I could possibly list here. He has just been beyond amazing. God blessed me beyond my understanding when He gave me Bobby as a husband. I know I dont say often enough to even the people that I see face to face on a daily band just how much they mean to me and how grantful I am for them. So even though its far from good enough, I will take this platform to say thank you to them and hope that they will forgive me for too often being negligent in my gratitude to them and God for them.
