So...I feel compelled to say something about this whole Im not gay no more viral video posted from the COGIC churches Holy Convocation...So here goes: I am completely disappointed and disgusted by peoples (yes even Christian peoples) utter disregard for this situation. Social media is pushing us into an era of apathetic human beings. As a Christian I firmly believe that GOD can change ANYTHING. That he can DELIVER anyone from ANY DEMON or STRONGHOLD. I wont lie when I originally saw the video I chuckled...when I saw some remakes...I chuckled...and then I really thought about it.. What I was laughing at was his delivery...However, what some folks were laughing at him because of their unbelief that anyone can be delivered from something that they are born with. That he would seriously get up there and embarrass himself like that. But heres my take on that.. Everyone in this world is born INTO sin. Not one among is perfect.I will NOT condemn anyone for being gay because I have no heaven or hell to put anyone in. I will also say that no one sin is greater than the next. The issue is (Biblicly speaking) is choosing to REMAIN in that sin. To accept it and LIVE in it. I have issues too and I have to hand them over to God...because without Him I would SURELY FALL.. This young man recognized his issue, came to repentance and declared his victory. There is NOTHING funny about that. God CAN deliver. As Christians we are to operate in LOVE.. there in no love for this young man OR God in this display of mockery. If you are an unbeliever the least that you could do is offer the same respect to Author Andrew Chad Caldwell that you request of others towards you and your belief (or lack there of). Anyways, Im sure plenty will be mad about my take. But it must be said. Sin is Sin...and from sin we ALL MUST be delivered.
