So I fell asleep watching the golf and woke up to the screeching of CBS News, which I havent watched a second of in over thirty years. It sounded like a SNL skit of itself. Horrible. Anyway, apparently some super-rich, high-tech entrepreneur, of whom Ive never heard, beat the crap out of his girlfriend and the enterprise was caught on video. So this is, as horrible as it apparently is, WORTHY of the CBS News? I dont know. Im asking. So, in order to give this mundane story some social significance CBS Interviews some thirty-something tech consultant woman, of whom I have never heard. Her business apparently is advising high-tech companies on equality issues, which is to say she is unemployed. She was HIDEOUS. her claim is that this domestic violence happens because High-Tech is a White Boyz Club. If more women (meaning her) were on corporate boards, this wouldnt happen. First, there are plenty of women executives in Tech. Second, wait for it. . . . . . wait for it. . . . . .WAIT FOR IT. . . the perpetrator WASNT EVEN WHITE. Hey, CBS News, if youre going to vomit up Liberal trope after Liberal trope, which is ALL youve done for 40 years, please try and choose facts that actually support your trope du jour. Channel changed.
