So I felt bad for all my Pickle pals and although I cant give you any hoggliness, I CAN take you on the journey with me. One country I will be stopping off at is Turkey. Turkey is one of the most ancient countries in Europe - with such famous visitors as Cleopatra, King Solomon, the Queen of Sheba, its been put on the map 4000 yrs. before many other countries. Its where the battle of Troy was fought, where the Romans invaded, where Cleopatra bathed, the Ottoman Empire resided. It has underground cities made by very early Christians, beautiful mosques made by thriving and ancient Muslims, an entire city made of caves, cascading mineral pools, a monastery built into the mountain, crystal beaches in the Aegean Sea, lush forests in the north, giant bazars meant to house thousands of merchants, a place where Sufis dance and spin to connect with God and ruins can be found everywhere. This country has seen many types of civilizations make their mark and have inadvertently turned it into a country with rich heritage and endless adventure and history.
