So I finally watch Django Unchained. I see why Spike Lee was so upset. Quentin Tarantino is cinematically gifted but I have never seen BLACK people that infatuated with using the N word let alone for him to use it hundreds of times. The only time Black was used to describe black people was when Samuel L Jacksons character said something like Your black ass. Otherwise the N word was THE word used to reference any black character. I have an issue with that. Secondly as Spike said Slavery is not a spaghetti western. His entertaining style I would find really hard to see fathomed by Hollywood for the Holocaust. A Jewish Holocaust survivor constantly called the K word as he buddies up with a sympathetic German to rescue his Jewish comfort woman wife from a Nazi? Doubtful. So I am with Spike on this one.
