So, I get an email today about a little boy who is 9 and in protective custody group home - he is being bullied by older kids in the group home and the staff feels it is necessary to take his one connection from home his security blanket away, his Teddy Bear and trash it because she got mad because an older kid threw it at him? Now I know you have to take into consideration that you hear a lot of things but I know that where this information came from it is true. So now tonight, I am praying that my request was fulfilled and a new Bear was purchased and delivered to him (my expense). I know how my Grandchildren love their stuffed animals and I am sure this little boy loved his - really is this what we have come too? I am sad, I am angry and if it takes making regulations tighter so all the children of South Carolina are treated like we want our own children to be treated that is just what we will have to do. I can afford to loose sleep over this. I hope that being cruel to children is worth the ultimate loss to the person that is so heartless to do this to a child who is already traumatized. I have always said God takes care of ugly!
