So I get this HURT dog out of the shelter this morning. The release paper indicated this dog was a female. NOT. This dog is a male. I scanned the dog with my scanner as soon as we got to the vet, and guess what? This dog has an active microchip and an owner. Doc gave him a shot of morphine to keep him comfortable until his owners get there. So the shelter gets the gender wrong and misses the microchip? I contacted Sarges owners and they immediately came the vet to authorize Dr Sabins to treat Sarge. Things that make you go hmmmm.
