So, I go to Iliad Bookshops website iliadbooks/ to check out a couple of things when out of nowhere Lisa Mortons disembodied voice surrounds me. Seriously, shes speaking to me, which is impossible because 1) shes alive (last time I checked), and 2) shes out in Cali and Im way the heck out here in South Carolina. But I guess if anyone can haunt me (living or dead) during the month of October, it would be Halloween expert Lisa Morton. ;) It turns out, at the bottom of my screen, there she is taking me on a virtual tour of their graphic novel section, which is huge! I thought this was very cool, especially once I realized it was a video and not a haunting (though it would be even cooler if she was actually here in person). Anyway, if youre in North Hollywood, check it out. Speaking of graphic novels, Lisa Morton, and Halloween, if you do have a chance to swing by there, you can probably find Witch Hunts: A Graphic History of the Burning Times by Rocky Wood and Lisa Morton, illustrated by Greg Chapman. Sweet!
