So I go to Walmart and see.a.young lady at end of parking lot with her son on ground coloring and she holding up a need help sign. I go in and get my stuff and get $5 to give her. As I am almost to her I see an old friend so we stop in parking lot not far from th lady and son. I say ima run this money to them & be rite back - they both try talk me out of it saying they didnt look homeless and I asked what does homelessness look like - of course they go into this description and i smh trying to say there is no defined look to homelessness. Then while we talking the lady.& son get into a car, they drive off. One of the ladies look at me and say...I rest my case. She goes on to say, you wanna give them money and they in a shiney new Acura, not riding away but driving away. And I then explain that while they were drivin away so was all their worldly possessions i saw packed in back of the car....smh dont judge a book by its cover Just because someone is homeless does not mean they nasty, dirty nor dont have possessions
