So I go to my car to head home tonight. I see glass on the ground & I know what that means. Theres a rock wrapped in an old sheet laying on my passenger seat. I look inside & see my console & glove box was rummaged through. I had some stuff in the back, took a quick glance & it all appeared to be there but it was dark. I call the police & they dont care. I did look through surveillance video & see the guy break my window, then hop in through the window. Hes in there for about a minute, then hops out through the window. Cant see his face but I do see the act. So I clean up & take inventory. It looked like all that was missing was Jennas iPod touch. Im heading home & I hear things slapping together in the back. My equipment fits in tightly, so the movement is a surprise. I take a look in the back & they got my effects rack & pedalboard. This stuff is custom built and acquired over 20 plus years. The things I did buy I cannot buy again because they are no longer manufactured. The things is, the guy didnt have the stuff in his hands when he left my car. I did notice a small check mark on my windshield. Im guessing its a mark for someone to come back later. Wireless iem system with a 4 channel mixer, 25 year old Korg DT-1 Pro tuner, Furman PL Plus, Nady wireless system (which I love), Radial J48 di, custom snake cable to connect to pedalboard with Korg tuner, Electro-Harmonic bass synth, Boss OD, Boss Chorus........all in road cases.. I can identify each piece.....Ive modified all of it to suit my needs.......and its all gone. Dammit!!!!!!!!!! The thing is, Im in the process of painting & rebuilding my garage, otherwise this stuff wouldnt have been stored in my car. I havent had a gig in a month but I have gigs this weekend & a huge part of my personal needs is gone. DAMMITTTT!!!!!! So my first order of business tomorrow is to go back through the video to see when the guy returns. DAMMMIITTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!
