So, I got my first plaque commemorating Nothing Mores debut single that went to number one on the rock charts! I was really happy to show my dad, especially since he took me to my first rock concert when I was 7 and has supported me in my dreams throughout life. My mom also supported me in everything I did and I wish she could be here to see this. I think the majority of the success we have as a band are testaments to good parenting and loving families. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have that kind of support growing up, and my heart goes out to those who didnt. The more I travel the clearer it becomes that I am very fortunate in that regard, and to take credit for this success would be ignorant. So... In conclusion, even though this plaque is just a silly material item, it symbolizes years of hard work and makes it tangible in some way. So I wanna dedicate this success to the people who believed in me before anyone else did and when no one else would... all my family. Marye, Bo, Jenna, Jessica, Karen, Debbie, Brent, Derek, Sheena, Baba, Grandma, Mom, and the rest of my extended family... And last but definitely not least, my rock through everything, my best friend and love of my life, Jessie Hawkins. #NothingMore
