So I got this absolutely amazing message sent to me today, it really put a smile on my face all day long. Please take the time to read, as you may be in a similar situation that this girl was when she first started training with us. :) here it is - Hi Carly, Just thought Id share some exciting info with you and if you like you could share it on your page to inspire others :) (anonymously of course lol) On the 19th of June I made one of the scariest decisions of my life.. To exercise, not only to exercise but to do it in front of other people. A friend of mine mentioned Body Defence Fitness to me and I thought - no way, I dont know how to do that stuff and Ill look like an idiot. It had to be done, I was really over weight, unhappy, depressed and had no social life, not to mention I had terrible skin. On the 20th of June I went along to a Friday morning class (the dreaded Harpss class), 2 minutes into the first round I just wanted to burst into tears, I thought how the hell can I do 25 minutes of this?!! What have I done!!?? I got to the fourth round before I had to go outside and throw up. The next day I could barely lift my arms or walk. I was a sore that I have never felt before. It took me a good three days to recover and then I came back to my second class. Since that first class 17 weeks ago, I have committed myself to five sessions a week, I have quite smoking, my skin is clearer, my moods are fantastic, I have started hanging out with friends more due to my improved confidence, naturally Im eating better, Ive lost 4 dress sizes and 19 kilos and above all made some beautiful new friends. I weighed myself this morning and finally hit my goal weight of 70 kgs. I have lost a total of 40 kgs and the last (stubborn) 19 kgs came off thanks to you, Sammy, Harps and of course Pardo. Im more than grateful than you can imagine and cant recommend you guys to enough people. Youre more than just a gym or fitness club... Were like a big family and I feel so comfortable and at home every time I come. Life time member here :) Thanks again for everything carly!!
