So, I got two new flashes for my Canon to replace my old Vivitar 285s. Nice, powerful units (Thats what she said) and they are totally manual. My old flashes had senors and told me at what f/stop to use depending on various ASAs (theyre that old) and sensor setting. These new units only have guide numbers. Fine if Im in a studio situation and can meter them. However, if on camera at an event, I suck at estimating distances and anything that requires calculations. Anyone know of an easy way to figure out proper exposure on the fly or a good YouTube video? This would be a good meeting topic.
